Calif. (April 14, 2005) - Hayden Godfrey of the Kodak EasyShare Gallery/Sierra
Nevada Professional Cycling Team placed third in today's 3km prologue
of the Sea Otter Classic's Sierra Nevada/Kodak Gallery Road Stage Race.
Godfrey's unofficial time of 3:49 was one of only three to go under 3:50,
after race winner Gord Fraser and second place Chris Wherry, both of Health
Net-Maxxis.
Godfrey, who won this stage of last year's Sea Otter Classic, said after
the race, "I'm a bit disappointed since I would have liked to win
this one again. But it doesn't always go that way and I'm satisfied with
third."
