         Dahlonega,
Georgia (April 22, 2005) - Despite the downpours, hail, and gusting winds
that swept over today's 133-mile stage of the Dodge Tour de Georgia, the
Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team supplied two strong
rides from Dominique Perras and Jackson Stewart.

Perras, Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada's strongest climber, placed 25th unofficially
and commented, "I'm disappointed since I was very close to making
the last split [on Wolfpen Gap], but it's also kind of encouraging since
there's a lot of racing left this year and I'm almost where I need to
        be."

Second across the line for Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada was Jackson Stewart,
the young sprinter whom many believe to be on the verge of a breakout
season. Stewart held strong in the main field until the Neel's Gap climb,
almost 100 miles into the stage.

"I've never climbed at that level and it was really incredible to
be in the group with all the Euro guys and Tour contenders," Stewart
        said.

Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada Operations Manager Kurt Stockton said, "It
was a gutsy, gutsy ride from Jackson today."
