         San
Francisco (May 16, 2005) - The Kodak EasyShare Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional
Cycling Team announced today that it has signed Pete Lopinto and Dan Schmatz
for the remainder of the 2005 season.

Both riders have been released voluntarily by Team Seasilver and will
make their Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada debut at the Wachovia Cycling Series,
beginning on May 31 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada Operations Manager Kurt Stockton commented,
"Pete and Dan are experienced racers and they'll shore up our roster
going into the second half of the season. They're both racing well right
now and we're glad to have them on board."

In fact, Lopinto and Schmatz took first and second in yesterday's criterium
at the Excel Sports Boulder Stage Race.

Lopinto, who raced for the Ofoto Cycling Team from 2002 to 2004, will
rejoin past teammates Tim Larkin, Dominique Perras, Jackson Stewart, Scott
Zwizanski, Russell Hamby and Racing Manager Robin Zellner.

Zellner commented, "Peter Lopinto is a rider that I personally have
supported since he first turned pro with Ofoto. But I am also very excited
to have Dan come on board, as he and Peter will allow our team to have
a more solid group of riders to draw on."

Schmatz, a former teammate of Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada's Hayden Godfrey
with 7UP and Health Net-Maxxis, added, "I've been impressed with
Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada this year and I think it's going to be a seamless
        transition."
