          Altoona, Penn. (July 25, 2005) - The Kodak Gallery/Sierra
Nevada Professional Cycling Team's hopes for the Tour de Toona got off to
a strong start this evening, with Ben Jacques-Maynes placing third in the
opening time trial behind Mark McCormack and Aaron Olson, both of Colavita-Sutter
      Home.

The 3.2 mile course in downtown Altoona had 16 corners, two large hills,
and plenty of small rises, all of which made for an unconventional test
      of time trialing ability.

¿It was just 'power, corner, power, corner' for six minutes,î Jacques-Maynes said. ¿Fortunately, I had good power and my workouts on the Serotta time trial bike have paid off.î

Having twice placed fourth overall in the Tour de Toona, Jacques-Maynes added, ¿I know from past years that I can climb all the hills around here, so I'm confident in my chances for a strong overall finish.î

With Health Net p/b Maxxis, Colavita-Sutter Home, Jittery Joe's-Kalahari,
Webcor Builders, and other strong teams in attendance, the Tour de Toona
should be one of the most competitve stage races of the 2005 domestic season.
