Last season brought the breakthrough results necessary to gain Ben Raby his first professional contract. Eager to make the most of his opportunity with the Kodak Gallery Pro Cycling Team, presented by Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., Ben has relocated to Boulder, Colorado for the 2007 season to train with his new teammates in the rare air of the Rocky Mountains.

Steady improvement and consistent results in 2004 gave way to a pair of high-profile 2nd place finishes at the 2005 Nature Valley Gran Prix and U.S. National Elite Road Championships.

Building on his 2005 advances, Ben earned his first major international stage race win, taking the mountain top finish of Stage 5 at the 2006 Vuelta a el Salvador. This win in the rugged mountain stage gained him the climbers jersey which he held for three consecutive stages.

The team's unoffocial cultural attache, Ben has spent years racing in Europe and has competed around the world. A native of Spain with U.S. and British citizenship, when not racing Ben applies his language skills as a professional translator.

Ben lives with his wife Sarah in Boulder, Colorado.
