Having spent the past 10 years working as an entrepreneur and marketing / business development executive in Silicon Valley, Rob O'Dea was recruited to the team to improve sponsors' return on investment. O'Dea noted, "The team is a very high value marketing property that is instantly recognized everywhere it goes. We need to work closely with our sponsors to understand their businesses and to make sure the team is there to support them."
In addition to his work as marketing director and communications manager, Rob will be spending significant time behind the camera as the team's official photographer.
After suffering a serious back injury in 2003 that curtailed his amateur mountain and road racing career, Rob rekindled his childhood passion for photography. In the seasons since, Rob has established himself as one of the nation's premier cycling photographers.
In 2006, Rob's cycling images were published on five continents for a range of clients and his photography business has grown to include high-end architectural, landscape and studio work. Rob is opening a studio in Boulder in early 2007.
Rob lives in Boulder, Colorado with his wife Adria, Greta the German Shepherd and Max the cat. When not working or riding, Rob can be found flyfishing the creeks and streams of the Rocky Mountains or skiing the Colorado backcountry in pursuit of the perfect turn.
