Mark joins the Kodak Gallery Pro Cycling Team, presented by Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. from the Navigators Insurance team. With his new team, Mark will be taking a major step forward in his career in his new role as team leader.
Since turning pro in 1998, Mark has accumulating an impressive 29 victories and five Canadian National Championship titles. When the races are long, the going tough and the conditions worse, Mark shines. In 2002, Mark demonstrated this toughness winning the 156-mile First Union-Philadelphia -North America's longest race.
Applying his off the bike interests in physics, engineering and environmental stewardship, Mark and his wife Robyn are nearing completion of their dream home. The structure will use state-of-the-art alternative energy generation technology to remain completely off the grid. Like the successes in his career, the integrity of his new home is the product of Mark's tireless work ethic, attention to detail, dedication to excellence and strong intellect.
